Sherlock Holmes, the Comparative, and Possessive Adjectives and Pronouns! Wow!

Hi Class,

This week we've been reading Sherlock Holmes. Here are some pictures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's apartment on Baker Street, London, that I visited last summer. This is where he used to write the Sherlock Holmes books. 


Doyle lived in the apartments above this tavern.

THIS WEEKS LESSONS:

We've been studying possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns. Also, we were studying comparative adjectives. 

Here is some practice, answer using the comparative:   

1. This restaurant (good) __________________ that restaurant.
2. Salads (healthy) ________________________sandwiches.
3. I think weekends (fun) __________________ weekdays.

4. Freeways (dangerous) ___________________side streets.
5. Armenia (far) ___________________________ France.
