Pronouns, Preferences, and Celebrations! Oh my!

Hello Wonderful People;

Today we're going to be reviewing Object Pronoun, Expressing Preferences, and Celebrations in the United States.

This is a wild flower called "Desert five-spot".
First, let's start with Object Pronouns.  Object pronouns replace nouns that are the object of the sentence - the object or object pronoun receives the action of the sentence.  Example: 1) Please give the iPad to her. 2) Tell him to sign the attendance.  Here's some practice lessons.  Click on:  Quizlet Object Pronouns

The next review lesson is on Expressing Preferences using "Would you like...", and responding expressing your opinion, such as "Yes, I would like some cake." or "No, I wouldn't, thank you".
Here is a link to an exercise on "Would like...".  Click here: Exercise on "Would like..."
This is a Lighthouse in Palos Verdes, California.

Lastly, here is some explanations on different celebrations and holidays in the United States from EL Civics.  Click here:  Holiday Lesson - United States.

Have fun!

Best,
Teacher Bonnie
